Welcome to the first weekly article on DLsite’s OFFICIAL Ci-en!
We’ve listened, and we’ve heard you. And a lot of you are saying one thing:

So today it’s time to fix that!
Translators Unite is, simply put, a platform that allows fans to translate manga and ASMR from Japanese into different languages, all while sharing profits with the creator! Sounds good, right? Here’s a handy little graphic to show how it works!

1) Creators give DLsite permission to let people translate their work.
2) Translators translate the work.
3) DLsite checks the translations.
4) The translations go on sale for anyone to buy!

If you’re fluent in Japanese and any of these languages, we’d love to have you on board!
Now you’ve got the basic gist, but what about the MONEY? Well, first of all, please be aware that you have to purchase something before you can translate it. Once translated, you can either choose to split the profits with the creator, or translate as a volunteer so the original creator gets all the proceeds! Profit splits are decided by the creator, so be sure to check beforehand if you’re okay with what they’ve decided!
