First of all, I'm not slacking, I started writing this article ten minutes ago, after finished learning the UI part of UE5.
I was really tired, so I thought I would write something to relax my brain cells.
I've been living in Kabukicho for more than seven months now, and I feel that if I move to another place in the future, it won't be too much to say that I'm from Kabukicho... Well, anyway, today I want to share with you what to eat in the morning if you come to Kabukicho.
I will use "taste", "price", and "convenience" as the main criteria for rating.
As well, the content of this article is personal opinion of BBQ1, and does not have any authority, only as a reference and advice.
So let's start with my summary of Japanese breakfast in the past 7 months.
Japan's breakfast culture is about equal to zero!
Wait, Japan's everyone don't rush to hit me, please listen to me, me as a night owl, and live in Kabukicho, which is such a place surrounded by restaurants. Even so, every morning I have a sense of despair not know what to eat.
I went to ask my friends who have lived in Japan for more than ten years, and their answer was the same: "Cut the lunch portion in half, and that's breakfast."
As an international student, I actually took pictures of myself eating often to my parents to let them know that I was doing well, as a way to reassure them. But the only thing I never send to my parents is breakfast, and I only send pictures of breakfast to people when I'm selling out - you see that's all I've been able to eat in the morning since I came to Japan.
Just kidding, of course there are great breakfasts in Japan, otherwise why am I writing this article?
So now I'd like to introduce you to some of the best breakfasts you can get in Kabukicho, in my opinion!
Top1.
MegaMaffin
I didn't eat much McDonald's before I started studying abroad, but after I arrived in Japan, it became a part of my life (half of my life was given by the 24-hour McDonald's).
Megamafin, 390 yen, double layers of meat, a layer of cheese, a piece of bacon, a piece of fried egg, with McDonald's breakfast special pastry, is definitely deservedly the king of Kabukicho breakfast. What's more, McDonald's starts selling breakfast as early as 5:00, and you can get such a big and delicious burger at 5:00, so what reason do I have not to put it in first place?
Taste: ★★★★☆
Cost-effectiveness: ★★★★★
Convenience: ★★★★★
Top2.
Komeda Coffee
I had never been to a coffee shop before studying abroad, not even once. At that time, high level consumption place like this, I really - really quite delicious, very recommend everyone to try. The price is also acceptable.
The characteristic of this coffee shop is cheap, and large amount of food. If you've been to more than one coffee shop, then you'll definitely understand how affordable Coffee's volume is. I highly recommend their Coffee Jelly and their homemade hamburger.
Remember this (what my friend said to me): If you're going to Komeda Coffee, one order of food is enough!
Taste: ★★★★★
Cost-effectiveness: ★★★★☆☆
Convenience:★★★★☆☆
Top3.
Yayoiken, in my understanding, Yayoiken is the premium Matsuya.
I honestly thought that Yayoi and Matsuya were close to same in terms of breakfast, until I discovered that Yayoi's juices are perfect for making chawanmushi. Yayoi-sen has a small dish for 150 yen, which is poured into the rice, added to the yakisoba and then stirred to make a very tasty bowl of chawanmushi rice. If you have a Yayoi-zen near you, please try this once! (Of course, maybe it's just because I like wasabi)
Taste: ★★★★☆☆
Cost-effectiveness: ★★★★☆☆
Convenience:★★★★☆☆
The Japanese are really good at this aspect of health drinks.
I mean リポビタン can be really good, much more reliable than Monster Energy - in terms of refreshment.
There are not too many things that I can report recently, first of all, the charactor setting is basically finished for our new work on RPG Maker ,and I can show you the design of stages 1 and 2 (there will still be changes in the final version).
Secondly, although learning UE5 while going to school is quite exhausting, thanks to the power of UE5 itself and its excellent ease of use, I should now be able to use what I've learned so far to create a shooter game that will ensure a basic gaming experience for everyone.
The learning process of UE5 reminds me of my junior and senior high school days when I was teaching myself PS and MMD.
But the difficulty of UE5 is higher than any production software I've learned so far, I often start from only one page to study, and then found that there are some other content I do not know and need to learn, and had to open other teaching content, when I realize, there are full of scheduled knowledge to learn ... ...
Although the basics are now understood, if I want to make more interesting games, I have to learn more about the physics system and the application of AI system in UE5.
I should be able to try to make some content that I want to play after I learn all this, and can start at the end of March if it goes well, if it goes well~
However, although I decide to learn the whole UE5, it could be better to hire a professional to help optimize the game content afterwards ...... The UE5 engine has a very high ceiling, I can create virtully good game with sufficient money and effort by my self, but if the game experience gets worse, it's not worth it.
After all, no matter what type of game, the core of the game is fun.
Recently, because of the sedentary time too long, the body seems to have become worse again, mainly eye pain... I hope you love your eyes...
BBQ No.2:
Another week has passed... I wish I had more results to show you...
The first version of English translation of Nebel has been completed and is being proofread, and I am working with the translators on playtesting and proofreading. Although my English is not very good, I can assure you that even in the unproofed version, the quality of the translation is already very high, and should be the highest quality of all our previous works, thanks to everyone at Saikey Studio!
The plot framework and narrative approach of the new game have been generally determined, and I am also trying my best to make the gameplay of this game linked with the H part, so I redesigned the logic of the whole combat part, so that each character's combat style can fit their position in the plot, and to ensure that players who are not interested in combat at all can pass through in an easy way, while trying to expand the breadth and depth.
However, this is still only the first version, if after the internal test, we feel that there is still a certain threshold of understanding for players, we may also change it back to a more common and typical RM combat - hope to bring you a relatively happy experience when the first release of the trial version ~
BBQ No. 1:
The last vote, you can see that people mainly like Wolm-san's 1 and 3 style of painting.
In the initial stage of production, we will mainly refer to these two styles of painting, and then finally determine the style of painting.
Dlsite game of the year voting only has last few days left, if you have Twitter and also approved Nebel, hope you can support us, big thanks here!
The way to vote can be found in the picture at the top, just go to Nebel's sales page and click, thank you again for your support!
I feel like I haven't done much lately, mainly because I've gained half a kilo (サイゼリヤ and 俺のフレンチ’s lunch was great)
I will also add a little to what #2 has said, this time the battle system would ensure that you can take out the enemy even if you choose skills randomly, and there will be a smoother way to collect CG, and more interaction with the heroine ...
Oh and, how is everyone thinking of NTL(寝取り), I would like to hear your opinions~
