Regarding the size of the game screen

Recently, I discovered a script that allows screen sizes to exceed 640x480, available only in VX Ace.
So I'm changing the game's engine from VX to VX Ace.

Previous games were produced with VX, and the displayed screen size was 1280x960, but in the end, it was just a measure to make 640x480 appear larger.
All picture sources used in the game were produced for 640x480.

I am moving scripts that only apply to VX to VX Ace while maintaining functionality as much as possible.

It will take a very long time.
But, I will definitely stop showing you the frustrating environment of 640x480 starting with my 4th game.

The screen size of my 4th game could be 1280x720, 1440x810, or 1280x960.
Which of them is best?
(It is okay to recommend sizes not indicated.)

Also, is it possible to break the screen size limit(=640x480) of games made with VX? I tried so many times but failed.
If anyone knows, please tell me. If I know how to do that, I can start working on my art right away without having to use VX Ace.
