These days working on [walking system remake]
The video is divided into three parts
The first part is basically showing the current effect, moving around and entering some automatic paths
The second part is to show the operation behind the scenes, through the Rpg maker's map system with a bunch of events to function
The third part is to show the map system in its current state of functioning.
In order to make the dating CG look more believable, I decided to update the BG style to a direction that I can draw more easily.
Although it is all AI generated
But when I want to draw the CG of other scenes, this style can be integrated into my drawing, so that the sense of consistency will not be interrupted.
And I also found that this style of BG actually has more room for imagination than the realistic BG, and the things inside are easier to identify.
Each of these BG consumes half an hour on average, including the generation of choices and PS corrections (blurring to clarity, wrong distortion to normal, unreasonable small items eliminated, unintended color corrections)
After I finish this update I don't think I will generate existing backgrounds on this game anymore (I will still generate new location BGs if new locations are added later)
After this update, I can completely free my hands to draw the CG storyline
15 backgrounds were updated today
If I draw these 15 by hand, it will be 150 hours of work
I have more than 150 locations to update, that is to say... At today's rate, I have about 9 days of work left.
If I'm lucky enough to get a few BG's without too many changes, it might be faster.
I'll be working on about ten more of these BGs, so hopefully I'll be able to start painting CGs soon... (Because the background is not the same or ideal, if we draw CG now, it is likely to be incompatible with the BG, so I am now prioritizing the BG of the location with the plot, so that I can conceive the CG sooner!
