Story
Hioyama Village.
Nestled deep in the mountains of a certain prefecture, it’s a small community surviving on the sole industry of selling tea.
Well, at least that’s what it seems on the surface.
You, a freelance writer, arrived to cover the depopulated village, aiming to explore its industry and way of life. However, the young village chief, Minami Gako, showed no interest.
Despite persistent negotiations, he eventually relented.
“Phew… even if I send you away now, it seems like you won’t give up on the interview. Do you have some special reason, or perhaps… unwavering confidence? How about another cup of tea? This might take a while.”
As you sipped the offered tea, your consciousness began to blur.
“Ah, it seems the drug is starting to take effect. I did mention it would be a long story, didn’t I? Well, it’s going to be a one-sided ‘chat’ from me. Goodnight. We’ll talk more later.”
And so, you embarked on the journey to discover Hioyama Village, or as some call it, the Enchantment Village.

monoBlack 3rd works brings you the tale of twin brothers living in Hioyama Village. Born with the aphrodisiac from the day they entered the world, their story intertwines with yours as you accidentally stumble upon their hidden secret.
Featuring assertive play at its core and embracing a distinctly ominous atmosphere typical of monoBlack, this narrative might lean towards some dark endings. Viewer discretion is advised for those uncomfortable with such themes. Additionally, while two characters are present, there are no threesome scenarios in this story.
We’ve recorded high-quality audio using the dummy head microphone KU-100 for both voices and sound effects.
Given that this work revolves around the theme of ‘aphrodisiacs,’ we’ve applied effects to simulate the experience of consuming the substance. We aimed for voices to feel even more pleasantly immersive than usual. However, as a consequence, there might be some fatigue when listening. To address this, we’ve included a version without the simulated effects.
Additionally, for those who prefer it, I’ve enclosed a version with no sound effects (voice-only).

He succumbed to the allure of the aphrodisiac, but due to being subjected to experimental drugs by his father under the guise of drug experiments since childhood, he developed an immunity, rendering the substance ineffective.
Learning that his father experimented recklessly with drugs, leading to the death of his younger brother (Hazure), and witnessing his parents progressively losing their sanity due to the drugs, he killed his father in childhood.
While Minami has no recollection, you met him during childhood.

The younger twin brother of Minami Gako. In Hioyama Village, twins are considered taboo, facing persecution from the villagers.
Consequently, their father confessed to killing Hazure to the villagers, leading to his imprisonment in an underground dungeon with the sentiment that he could die there.
Subjected to experimentation with drugs since childhood for the development of the aphrodisiac, he lost sight in one eye due to the experiments.
Various parts of his body, including his left hand, are impaired.
However, repeated drug exposure resulted in his saliva acquiring components that neutralize the aphrodisiac (though he remains non-resistant to the substance).
Fearing that his father, upon learning of this development, would intensify experiments on him, he conceals this trait, worried that even his brother, Minami, might use him as an experimental subject.
Despite both parents being deceased, he still resides in the underground dungeon, avoiding strong light and hiding from the villagers.
He finds solace in reading, spending his days reading books purchased by his brother in the underground dungeon.
