私とDazstudio①　きっかけ

旧作の引っ越しだけだとpixiv時代から見てくれている方には退屈だと思うので、たまには違う話を。

「私とDazstudio」と題して私が使用しているソフトDazstudioについて私がやっていることなどをこれから偶に書いていこうと思います。
最初に言っておきますが、私はCGに関する勉強もしていませんし、知識もほとんど無い人間です。なので私の記事から得られる専門的な知識は多分ないです。

ただ、Dazstudioは遊んでいて楽しいですし絵の勉強をしたことがなくても私のような絵作りが可能になるソフトです。
無料から始められますので興味のある人は是非試してみてください。
私の記事がそのきっかけになってくれたらうれしいです。

私がDazstudioを始めたきっかけは「レトロゲームが現代のグラフィックでリメイクされた姿が見てみたい」という思いからはじまりました。
それで最初に再現をこころみたゲームのキャラクターがこれです。

往年のセガの名作ベアナックルのブレイズです。
ブレイズを作成する前段階で似て非なるキャラクターも生まれましたが、そちらはグレイスさんというオリジナルキャラクターにしました。それがこちらです。

その後DAZでブレイズに使えそうな衣装や髪を見つけるたびに買いそろえ、下記のようにバージョンアップしていきました。

ネイキッドナックルの続編では彼女にタイツを履かせようと画策していて以下が最新のVer.です。

こんな感じでかつてはドット絵だったキャラクターを3DCGで再現する事を楽しんでいます。
勿論せっかく作ったキャラクターなのでムフフな目に遭って頂いてそれを作品にさせてもらってますけどね（笑）

I think it would be boring for those who have been following me since my pixiv days if I just moved my old works, so I'll talk about something different once in a while.

I'm going to write about my software, Dazstudio, and what I'm doing with it.
First of all, I would like to say that I have not studied CG and have very little knowledge about it. So there is probably no expertise that you can get from my articles.

However, Dazstudio is fun to play with and even if you have never studied drawing before, it is a software that will enable you to create pictures like me.

I started Dazstudio because I wanted to see retro games remade with modern graphics.
This is the first game character I tried to recreate.

This is Blaze from Sega's classic Bare Knuckle (Streets of Rage).
In the preliminary stages of creating Blaze, a similar but different character was also created, but that one was made into an original character called Ms Grace. Here it is.

After that, whenever I found outfits and hair that I could use for Blaze in DAZ, I bought them all and upgraded them as follows.

The sequel to Naked Knuckle is planning to put tights on her and the following is the latest ver.

I enjoy recreating characters that used to be dots in 3DCG like this.
Of course, since I've taken the trouble to create these characters, I've created a lot of wonderful scenes and let them become my works of art (laughs).
