Salar de Uyuni is a salt land located on the Altiplano in central western Bolivia. When you look around at the center of the salt flats, you'll see pure white plains as far as you can see, and the cold climate creates the illusion that you're in the middle of a snowy field.

メサといわれるテーブル形の台地や、さらに浸食が進んだ岩山ビュートが点在し、あたかも記念碑が並んでいるような景観を示していることからこの名がついた。

Monument Valley is the name of a region in the southwestern United States that stretches from southern Utah to northern Arizona.
It is dotted with table-shaped plateaus called mesas and rocky buttes that have been further eroded, giving the area its name because it resembles a series of monuments.
