Is nearly a whole month since I have posted any devlog, so in the past few weeks I have worked hard to manage to do something on Core gameplay, it's still quite rough and lacks of content but the framework is halfway done, now I just need to make a lot of assets like animation, storyline, cloth, model, texture, etc. And something needs to be remade.
and how about the voice acting? Sadly I haven't come to any idea at least for now, maybe I can do it myself? It is possible since I'm a woman but that feels so weird I'm sure I gonna do some mental constrycting to be able to do it.
due to the depression strike on me once more and remaining medicine has been expired a long time ago but I have no time and money to see a doctor for now, because of that, the game development went slowdown, so I rested few days now is all fine, And in the past few days I made some big changes to the game, detail in below:
Animation:
*due to the bad performance when the player was in the NPC crowd, I remade the animation blueprint to multi thread, so the performance was increased by at least 70%
NPC: I made a system to randomly generate the look of NPC, so in the theory every NPC is different. (the random generate needs to make a lot of assets to be able look good, so I need a lot of time to work on it.) Now the NPC can feel hungry and thirsty, they will search for food and water but the system is incomplete so they are starving.
Gameplay: Adding the ability system to the player, so I can do ability check in dialogue or interaction. continue to expand the map(now is 35% in total)

*It's funny to call it a "Development team" because the whole team is just me. but due to the speed of development, I'm planning to find someone to join me
Over the past few days, I have expanded the playable area and created NPCs that can be interacted with. (Follow to see more images in below)
Based on the original plan, the play area of the game was planned to be quite large (We have just done 15% so far), so it may take at least about a month for the demo release.
---Animation System---
In the previous post I talked about animation, The animation system is halfway done, In the test is already working but needs more time to polish.
How Animation System Work:
player enter Sexmode->Collect AnimSet in radius->Show in sex menu->Play AnimSet(Each AnimSet contain 8 animation)->When excitment value>25->play animStage3 in AnimSet->When excitment value>50........
Is hard to explain but basically what AnimSet you can play depends on your character and target character and environment around you.
Here is Devlog #2. I created a control rig for the female character and one sex animation. Is the first time I made animation only in unreal not in another program, animating in unreal is enjoyable but it has one thing that kind downside to me, I can't mirror the Keyfream at least I didn't find out how to do that, I heard unreal 5.4 got an update in animating I hope they add this feature but sadly I can't change my unreal to 5.4 cus I start this project in 5.1😥
