「Your Waifu Foxgirl Konko / コン狐との日常」のリリースが27日に決まりました！
That's over half a year later than the Japanese version...
There were two reasons for the delay.
-After failing to pass Steam's screening process more than three times, we were ultimately banned from selling
-After the Steam result, we made an important decision on which we hung all our hopes
We deliberated over this for a long time after the results of the Steam screening came in.
We took some time to explain to and work with our staff and others who have assisted us.
This decision requires a great deal of understanding, and comes with a deal of pain and sacrifice.
We ask that everyone who has been keeping an eye on this project all this time hears us out.
日本語版の販売から半年以上……
実はここまで販売が伸びたのは２つのことがありました。
・Steamの審査に合計３回以上も落ち続けた、最終的に販売禁止にされた
・それに伴いめがみそふとの「すべて」を掛けた決断をしたこと
Steamの審査の結果からずっと考えいたことです。
スタッフや、協力して頂いた皆様へのご説明と協力にお時間を頂きました。
この決断はそれほどの理解が必要であり、痛みや犠牲が伴うものです。
だからどうかここまでプロジェクトを見守ってくださった皆様も聞いてください。
Your Waifu Foxgirl Konko is becoming free to play!
The all-ages version that we had planned to sell on Steam will now be a free product on DLsite.
We made this decision because we wanted as many people as possible to experience Konko.
By making the game free, Megami Soft is throwing away potential revenue.
Between production fees and translation fees, we have spent close to 5 million yen.
And that's not to mention all the sadness, anger and despair we suffered as a result of losing Steam as a marketplace...plus our hopes of creating a future for moe games...
To overcome all of that, we decided we wanted even more users to experience Konko, so we picked ourselves back up, and reached this conclusion after extensive deliberation.
So we're throwing all plans out the window and setting Konko loose on the world!
この度Steamで販売予定であった全年齢版をDLsiteにて無料作品にすることに致しました。
一人でも多くの人にコン狐を愛してもらいたいと考えこう致しました。
めがみそふとにとって「販売をしない」ということは利益を捨てることです。
製作費や翻訳費用を考えると５００万円近い損失を抱えております。
それでもSteamという場を奪われた「かなしみ」「怒り」「絶望」
……そして「萌ゲーの未来を繋がなければならないという希望」
それらを乗り越えるにはより多くのユーザー様にコン狐が愛されるということで、もう一度立ち上がろうとめがみそふとが考え抜いた結論です。
すべてを捨てて「コン狐を世界で生かす」ということだけにすべてを掛けます！
The Complete version will be sold as the commercial (i.e. not free) version.
The plan is for Your Waifu Foxgirl Konko All Ages Version to be released for free,
while the Complete Version will be sold at the price of $18.
Since there will be no patch for the All Ages version, there will be no way for people to play the Complete version without paying for it (no patch will be distributed at all for the foreign language versions).
Also, because of the challenges posed by Steam, and the content that was toned down for that version
such as the touching commands and some provocative clothing options, the Complete version now has a lot of unique content.
While the All Ages version also has a lot of content to enjoy,
we think we have made a product that those who have purchased it will find worth their investment.
「Your Waifu Foxgirl Konko / コン狐との日常」は全年齢版は無料で公開し、
有料版(完全版)は約１８ドルという価格で販売予定です。
全年齢版はパッチがないため有料版を買うしか皆様にお配りする完全版を手に入れる方法はありません(外国語版はいっさいパッチを配布しません)
さらにSteam版へのチャレンジのため「タッチ系コマンド」「過激衣装の削除」など、
かなりの要素をマイルドにしているためより完全版に要素が集約致しました。
全年齢版だけでもたくさんの要素を遊べますが、
購入して頂いた皆様にはしっかりと価値のある作品をお渡しできると思います。

We don't need profits - we just want people all over the world to experience Konko on their PCs.
Even if you don't have Steam - even if you don't have money, Konko will have a reason for being.

Megami Soft's aim is to produce the best work we can, and have the world experience the wonder of moe games.
Right now, the world is facing tough times, with a great deal of uncertainty, solitude and loneliness.

Perhaps for that reason, the Japanese version has lived on in obscurity, rarely being mentioned on social media or blogs.

We just want you to pass on a record of your time with Your Waifu Foxgirl Konko.
This wonderful healing experience is only available to those who actually play the game.
