2019/09/04 ゲーム作りから休憩 - Break from Development

今月は新たなバイト始めます。最近はお金も厳しくて、これで一安心もあります。しばらくバイトと日本語能力試験の勉強は中心になるので、開発が中断になる可能性は高いです。

まあ、個人的にゲーム開発の仕事は一番やりがいがあります。時間とお金の余裕がまたあったる必ず続けます。

I'm starting a new part-time job this month. Money has been tight recently so this is a boon. For the time being, though, I'll be concentrating on that job and studying for the JLPT this december. This'll probably mean I'll development will be on hiatus for a while.

Game development is the most fulfilling work for me, though. If anything, I'll come back when I can stabilize my time and money again.

攻撃とダッシュ～ Attacks and Dashing

空中攻撃、攻撃エフェクト、効果音など～ Air Attacks, Effects and Sounds

ついでに壁キックとクロール移動も追加しました~ Wall Jumps, Crawling too

タワーディフェンス作ろ時は各キャラやタワーのアニメーションツリーは割と簡単ですしたが今回は始めてプレイヤーキャラに色々してもらいたかったのでアニメーションたくさん入れてアニメーターはこんな感じになっちゃった。
While making a tower defense game, all the characters/towers had simple animation states. But this is the first time I needed a character to do lots of different things. The animator turned into this mess:

2019/08/20 中国語版・次回作 Chinese Version & Next Project

中国語版　Chinese Version

報告が遅くなりますが、現在中国語翻訳アップデートは8月12日から発売中です。

取り敢えず日本語サイトと英語サイトから購入できます。台湾版のDLsiteにも投稿して見たんですが、検査に通れないみたいです。

中国語話せる方があるなら、翻訳のことを広めたらめっちゃ助かります！中国語話せない私に中国語のコミュニティは届きにくいです。

This is a late announcement but the Chinese version has been released on Aug. 12, 2019.

It's also currently 30% OFF as part of the DLsite summer doujin campaign.

For now, it's available on DLsite Japan and DLsite English. I've also tried sending to DLsite Taiwan but it seems stuck in the review process.

If there are Chinese speaking players here, I would greatly appreciate it if you spread the word about the translation. It is very difficult for me to reach Chinese speaking communities without your help!

次回作 Next Project

I am also exploring concepts for the next project. Currently leaning on a sidescrolling action game. It might also be good to make an all-ages work instead.

【中文翻译即将推出】

中国語翻訳は徐々に進んでいます。というか中国語の方がほぼ完成ですが、フォントが変わったので今回はもっと漢字を使えることになりました。これに従って、日本語の翻訳も見直します。ドットフォントは使えなくなりましたは残念ですが、やはり仕方ないですね。

The Chinese translation is going smoothly. It's done for the most part, but since the font has changed and I can use Kanji more freely now, I'm taking this opportunity to go over the Japanese translations as well. The only unfortunate thing is, I can't use pixel font with Chinese localization.

I'm also thankful for all the response I've received from Japan, despite being a foreigner.

This game has taken me several years to make. It's not perfect but I'm proud of it. There is also a feeling of finally becoming "real game developer" after releasing it 😅
