地上、宇宙、天上国、星。わいっしゅさまの描く美麗なキービジュアル

すでにお気づきの方もいらっしゃると思いますが、本作で描かれているキービジュアルの背景部分は
わいっしゅさまにお願いしました。

わいっしゅさまは個人的にずっと大好きなBGデザイナー/アーティストさんで、本作を宇宙と地上というテーマで行こうと構想を練った時に、キービジュアルを 絶対にわいっしゅさまにお願いしたいと考えました。

驚くべきは建造物の緻密さと直線/曲線の持つ質感と美しさです。
例えばこの木造の家や石造りの建物の質感は、見た時にこの(架空の)街の空気を感じさせてくれました。

制作では本作のコンセプト、時代背景などできる限りの設定をお伝えした上で制作していただきました。
特に本作で鍵となる天上国トラソルアリは現実にないものなので
より自分たちのイメージを言語化してお伝えし、僕たちの想像を超える素晴らしい天上国を作っていただきました。

「背景」と一言で言うのが惜しいくらい、一つの素晴らしい作品だと感じました。

As some of you may have already noticed, the background of the key visuals in this work
We asked わいっしゅ to draw the background of the key visuals.

When we were planning the theme of the film, "Space and Earth," we decided to ask わいっしゅ to create the key visuals for the film.

I was amazed at the precision of the architecture and the texture and beauty of the straight/curved lines.
For example, the textures of the wooden houses and stone buildings give me a sense of the atmosphere of this (fictional) city when I see them.

In the production process, we provided as much information as possible about the concept of this work and the historical background of the time period.
In particular, the key character of the film, Trasolari, is something that doesn't exist in reality, so we were able to verbalize our image of Trasolali.
We were able to verbalize our image of the country and asked them to create a wonderful heavenly land that exceeded our imagination.

We felt it was such a wonderful piece of work that we could hardly use the word "background" to describe it.
