あと数ヶ月もすれば誕生する、俺ら夫婦にとって初めての子ども。
新しい命の誕生が着々と近づいている喜びに包まれた俺ら夫婦は、予期せぬ冒険に向かう準備を進めていた。

だが、俺らはまだ出産する産院での両親学級へまだ参加していなかった。
それは今週末、夫婦で参加することになっているのだが、正直どんなことをするのか想像できずにいた。
妊娠中および出産の準備をするために提供される教育プログラムの一部であり、妊娠の進行、身体の変化、妊娠中の栄養、運動、および妊娠中の健康に関する指導などを受けることができるらしい。
だが、共働きの俺らにとって、平日に開催される数回セットの両親学級へ参加することは難しく、出産間際のこんなタイミングとなってしまったのだ。
